Alternative Academic Calendar for Higher Secondary (Classes XI & XII) - Summary
Union Human Resource Development Minister Shri Ramesh Pokhriyal has released the alternative academic calendar for higher secondary stages (Classes XI and XII) today. This academic calendar is designed to help students stay engaged in meaningful educational activities at home during the COVID-19 lockdown. Created by the NCERT under the guidance of the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), it aims to support students in learning with the help of their parents and teachers.
Support for All Students
The Minister emphasized that this calendar will cater to the needs of all children, including Divyang children (Children with Special Needs). It includes links for audio books, radio programmes, and video programs to enhance learning opportunities for everyone.

These daily sessions are broadcast Monday to Saturday at different times:

– and from 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm for higher secondary stages.
