Chetan Bhagat is the author of six best-selling books, which have sold over ten million copies worldwide and have been translated into more than a dozen languages.
He was dubbed “the biggest-selling author in India’s history” by The New York Times in 2008, a title he has retained to this day. Almost every one of his writings has been made into a successful Bollywood film. He’s also a screenplay writer who’s won a Filmfare Award. Chetan studied at IIT Delhi and IIM Ahmedabad before working in investment banking for a decade before retiring to pursue his dream of becoming a full-time writer. He is the father of twin boys, Shyam and Ishaan, and is married to Anusha. He is based in Mumbai.
