National Digital Health Mission (NDHM) Strategy / Guidelines PDF
National Digital Health Mission (NDHM) is a new initiative launched by Narendra Modi Government on 15th August 2020 with a goal of creating an integrated healthcare system which is efficient, effective, transparent, accessible, inclusive, affordable, fast and safe.
The Objective of National Digital Health Mission is the attainment of the highest possible level of health and well being for all at all ages, through a preventive and promotive health care orientation in all developmental policies, and universal access to good quality health care services without anyone having to face financial hardship as a consequence.
Under the National Digital Health Mission, a Health ID will be provided to each citizen of India which will be used for the secure storage and exchange of personal healthcare records such a treatment history, reports data, prescriptions, appointment etc.
NDHB Strategy Overview one can say guidelines, this document describes the broad context, rationale, scope, and implementation arrangements for a digital ecosystem for healthcare services across the country. Since the implementation is envisioned to be in a mission mode, the initiative is referred to as the National Digital Health Mission (NDHM).
