MP Ladli Act in Hindi
The MP Ladli Act, also known as the Ladli Laxmi Yojana, is a government scheme implemented in the state of Madhya Pradesh, India. The scheme aims to promote the welfare and empowerment of girl children by providing financial assistance and incentives to their families.
Under the MP Ladli Act, a specific amount of money is deposited in a bank account for a girl child born on or after January 1, 2006. The deposited amount, along with interest, is made available to the girl when she turns 21 years old, provided she meets certain conditions, such as completing her education and remaining unmarried before the age of 18. The MP Ladli Act intends to support the education, health, and overall development of girl children and encourage gender equality.
MP Ladli Laxmi Yojana Online Registration Details
This Act may be called the Madhya Pradesh Ladli Laxmi (Balika Protsahan) Adhiniyam, 2018. It extends to the whole of the state of MP. It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may by notification appoint.
- The Parents shall submit the application for registration in such manner as may be prescribed ar the registration center within a year of birth or adoption or succession of successor female child.
- The officer in charge of the registration center shall on receipt of the application, verify the contents therein, and shall forward the same to the competent authority.
- The competent authority shall after receiving the application from the officer in charge under sub-section (2) above, either register and issue an assurance certificate or reject the application.
