Maharashtra Special Trains List From 9th October PDF

The Central Railway has unveiled the Maharashtra Special Trains List, which will be effective from October 9. These special trains are set to operate between major stations like Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, Nagpur, Pune, Gondia, and Solapur. Starting this Friday, five pairs of these special trains will run daily to ensure safe travel for passengers.

Maharashtra Special Trains: Important Information

According to the Central Railway’s announcement, the special trains are fully reserved. This means that only passengers with confirmed tickets can board these trains. The railway authority has stressed the importance of health and safety during this time. Passengers are advised to strictly follow all COVID-19 related norms and SOPs while boarding, traveling, and at their destinations.

Travel Guidelines for Passengers

Recently, the Maharashtra government shared information about the resumption of train services in the state. However, please remember that suburban train services in Mumbai are still suspended, except for those providing essential services.

Moreover, the statewide lockdown has been extended until October 31. As part of the “Mission Begin Again” initiative, the government has permitted various relaxations for businesses. All trains that commence and conclude their journeys within the state will restart immediately, maintaining all necessary health protocols outlined for COVID-19.
