Laxmi Puja Method – Easy Way to Do Puja at Home
- Place the idols of Mata Laxmi and Lord Shri Ganesh on a chowki, keeping Laxmi on the right and Ganesh’s face facing east.
- Put a kalash filled with rice in front of them, with a coconut wrapped in a red cloth placed on top.
- Light two diyas – one with ghee and the other with oil; place one at the idols’ feet and the other on the right side of the chowki.
- Keep a small diya near Ganesh ji as well.
- Start the puja with items like water, mauli, abir, sandalwood, gulal, rice, incense, jaggery, flowers, etc. during the right time.
- Lighting 26 or more diyas is considered lucky, then perform the Shodashopchar Puja of Ganesh ji and Laxmi ji following the proper way.
- Recite Sri Sukt, Laxmi Sukta, and Purush Sukta, and perform the Aarti with full method.
