Tourism – India China Trade Relationship
The number of people traveling between India and China is increasing. That was the case before the Covid-19 epidemic, at least. Mainland China was India’s eighth-largest market in 2018, accounting for roughly 3% of overall arrivals. As per information from the Tourism Ministry of India, the number of visitors increased from 1,371 in 1981 to 2.8 lakh in 2018, rising at an annualized rate of 32.4 percent. Nearly half of the visitors were there for business, while the other half were there for pleasure.
