HP Pradhanmantri Fasal Bima Yojana
The Government of India, Ministry of Agriculture, Department of Agriculture & Cooperation, Krishi Bhawan, New Delhi vide their letter No. 13015/02/2015-Credit-II dated 28th Feb 2020 has conveyed its Administrative Approval for the implementation of Revamped Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojna (R-PMFBY) w.e.f. Kharif, 2020 season onwards.
As approved by the Principal Secretary (Agri) to the Govt. of H.P.-cum- Chairman of State Level Co-ordination Committee on Crop Insurance (SLCCCI) on dated 17.06.2020, the Revamped Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojna (R-PMFBY) will be implemented during Kharif 2020, Rabi 2020-21, Kharif 2021, Rabi 2021-22, Kharif 2022 & Rabi 2022-23 seasons. Under this scheme, Maize and Paddy crops will be covered during the above said Kharif seasons, and Wheat & Barley crops will be covered during the above said Rabi seasons.
