Haryana Electric Vehicles Policy
Haryana Electric Vehicles Policy, the first 2,400 buyers of electric and hybrid cars (under four different categories) purchased and registered in the state shall receive a purchase incentive of 15% of the ex-showroom price of vehicles costing up to Rs 10 lakh. The state is offering 15 percent of the ex-showroom price – up to ₹3 lakh – in subsidy for HEVs in the price range of ₹15-40 lakh. For Hybrid Electric Cars of price range ₹40-70 lakh, the incentive is 15 percent of the ex-showroom price – up to ₹5 lacks.
The Haryana government notified the Electric-Vehicle Policy, under which 12 schemes have been made to encourage electric vehicles (EVs). Haryana Govt. offers a subsidy of ₹25,000 on e-rickshaws/carts and a ₹50,000 subsidy for light electric motor vehicles. And for cars under ₹10 lakhs, a subsidy of ₹75,000 and for 1₹ lakh for that above ₹ 10 lakhs.

The 12 schemes that have been made live to encourage electric vehicles in the Electric-Vehicle Policy include purchase incentives for buyers, charging and battery swapping station scheme, state goods and services tax reimbursement scheme, capital subsidy scheme, employment generation subsidy scheme, electricity duty exemption scheme, stamp duty reimbursement scheme, patent fee reimbursement scheme, r & d incentives, human capacity building excellence centre of excellence scheme, seed, and conversion fund scheme, water treatment incentive scheme.
All eligible buyers willing to take advantage may visit the website, check details, and may apply for incentives within 45 days from the date the portal has been made live.
