అస్యశ్రీ గరుడ కవచ స్తోత్ర మంత్రస్య నారద ఋషి:
వైనతేయో దేవత అనుష్టుప్ చందః
మమ గరుడ ప్రసాద స్థిత్యర్దే జపే వినియోగః
శిరోమే గరుడః పాతు లలాటం వినతా సుతః |
నేత్రే తు సర్పహో పాతు కర్ణౌ పాతు సురార్చితః ||
నాసికం పాతు సర్పారిహి వదనం విష్ణువాహనః |
సూర్య సూతానుజః కంఠం భుజౌపాతు మహాబలః ||
హస్థౌ ఖగేశ్వరః పాతు కరాగ్రే త్వరుణా కృతీ |
నఖాన్ నఖాయుదః పాతు కుక్షౌ ముక్తి ఫలప్రధః ||
స్థనౌ మేపాతు విహగః హృదయం పాతుసర్వదా |
నాభిం పాతు మహాతేజాః కటిం పాతు సుధాహరః ||
ఊరూపాతు మహావీరో జానునీ చండవిక్రమః |
జంఘే దున్డాయుదః పాతు గల్ఫౌ విష్ణురథః సదా ||
సుపర్ణః పాతు మే పాధౌ తాక్ష్యా పాదాంగులీ తదా |
రోమకూపాని మే వీరః త్వచం పాతు భయపహః ||
