శ్రీ భైరవ ఉవాచ:

శృణు దేవి జగన్మాత ర్జ్వాలాదుర్గాం బ్రవీమ్యహం|
కవచం మంత్ర గర్భం చ త్రైలోక్య విజయాభిధమ్||
అ ప్రకాశ్యం పరం గుహ్యం న కస్య కధితం మయా|
వి నామునా న సిద్దిః స్యాత్ కవచేన మహేశ్వరి||
అవక్తవ్యమదాతవ్యం దుష్టాయా సాద కాయ చ|
నిందకాయాన్యశిష్యాయ న వక్తవ్యం కదాచన||

శ్రీ దేవ్యువాచా:

త్రైలోక్య నాద వద మే బహుథా కథతం మయా|
స్వయం త్వయా ప్రసాదోయం కృతః స్నేహేన మే ప్రభో||

శ్రీ భైరవ ఊవాచ:

ప్రభాతే చైవ మధ్యాహ్నే సాయంకా లేర్ద రాత్రకే|
కవచం మంత్ర గర్భం చ పఠినీయం పరాత్పరం||
మధునా మత్స్య మాంసాది మోదకేనా సమర్చయేత్|
దేవతాం పరాయ భక్త్యా పఠేత్ కవచముత్తమమ్||
