CMKKY Job Roles List - Summary
The Chief Minister’s Kaushalya Karnataka Yojana (CMKKY) is a significant initiative focused on providing skill training for 5 lakh youth every year. Out of these, 2.50 lakh youth will receive direct benefits under schemes implemented by the State Department of Employment and Livelihood (SDEL), while the remaining 2.50 lakh youth will gain from various programs run by other Government departments and organizations.
Understanding the CMKKY Training Process
This CMKKY scheme ensures that the training is offered by various Training Partners (TPs) associated with the Central Government, State Governments, and a mix of public and private sectors, including industrial establishments. A clear and transparent mechanism will be put in place for the empanelment of TPs and Training Centres (TCs), making it easy for everyone to follow along.
Moreover, to simplify the process, an online platform will be available where all interested TPs and TCs can easily register and get accredited by filling in the required details.
CMKKY Job Roles List
This newly launched Department will bring together the various skill training programs conducted by different departments under one roof. Standardization of skill sets and their related job roles is essential. The initiative also focuses on unifying Content, Syllabus, Selection of Trainees, Selection of Training Providers, Assessment of Trainees, and their Placement processes.
In addition, it aims to develop a new strategic framework for Skill Development targeting school drop-outs and existing workers, particularly those in the Informal Sector. This effort will be conducted in close cooperation with industry stakeholders, micro enterprises in the Informal Sector, State Governments, experts, and academic institutions.
