అస్య శ్రీ చంద్ర కవచ స్తోత్ర మహా మంత్రస్య |
గౌతమ ఋషిః | అనుష్టుప్ ఛందః | శ్రీ చంద్రో దేవతా |
చంద్ర ప్రీత్యర్థే జపే వినియోగః ||
ధ్యానమ్‌
సమం చతుర్భుజం వందే కేయూర మకుటోజ్వలమ్‌ |
వాసుదేవస్య నయనం శంకరస్య చ భూషణమ్‌ ||
ఏవం ధ్యాత్వా జపేన్నిత్యం శశినః కవచం శుభమ్‌ ||
అథ చంద్ర కవచం
శశి: పాతు శిరో దేశం ఫాలం పాతు కలానిధి |
చక్షుషిః చంద్రమాః పాతు శ్రుతీ పాతు నిశాపతిః || ౧ ||
ప్రాణం కృపాకరః పాతు ముఖం కుముదబాంధవః |
పాతు కంఠం చ మే సోమః స్కంధే జైవాతృకస్తథా || ౨ ||
కరౌ సుధాకర: పాతు వక్షః పాతు నిశాకరః |
హృదయం పాతు మే చంద్రో నాభిం శంకరభూషణః || ౩ ||
మధ్యం పాతు సురశ్రేష్టః కటిం పాతు సుధాకరః |
ఊరూ తారాపతిః పాతు మృగాంకో జానునీ సదా || ౪ ||
అభ్దిజః పాతు మే జంఘే పాతు పాదౌ విధుః సదా |
సర్వాణ్యన్యాని చాంగాని పాతు చంద్రోఖిలం వపుః || ౫ ||
ఫలశ్రుతిః
ఏతద్ధికవచం దివ్యం భుక్తి ముక్తి ప్రదాయకమ్‌ |
యః పఠేత్ చ్ఛృణుయాద్వాపి సర్వత్ర విజయీ భవేత్ ||
