Child-friendly Gram Panchayat Award (CFGPA) 2020 Awardees List - Summary
Ministry of Panchayati Raj, Government of India has been incentivizing the best performing Panchayats recommended by the State Governments/UT Administrations since 2011-12. The awards are given on the National Panchayati Raj Day celebrated on the 24th of April every year.
Child-friendly Gram Panchayat Award (CFGPA): Keeping in view that the basic component of social development is creating a conducive atmosphere for the healthy growth and development of children, this award was announced on 1st March 2019 for best performing Gram Panchayats (GPs)/Village Councils (VCs) (one in each State/UT) for adopting child-friendly practices
Here is the list of all the Panchayat who have been awarded Child-Friendly Gram Panchayat Awards (CFGPA) under the initiative for the year 2020 (Appraisal Year 2018-19).
The list contains 30 total villages from different states UT’s.
