Giyu Punishment Comic Book - Summary
Giyu Punishment Comic Book
Giyu Punishment Comic Book is an exciting adventure where Giyu tries to save Tanjiro from Nezuko Kamado, who has turned into a Demon. However, to his surprise, Tanjiro is determined to protect her. After a tense encounter with Tanjiro, Giyu recognizes the young boy’s potential and decides to send him to his master, Sakonji Urokodaki, for training to become a Demon Slayer.
Discover Giyu’s Character
Giyu is a pretty tall young guy with a slim, muscular build and pale skin. He rarely shows emotions and almost always has a serious look on his face. His unruly black hair is unevenly cut and spikes up in tufts all over his head, which he ties back into a low, messy ponytail at the nape of his neck. His fringed bangs cover his eyes unevenly. Giyu’s eyes are quite big and sharp, with bluish-black pupils and deep sapphire irises that lighten to a lighter shade of blue. His thin eyebrows frame his piercing gaze.
Giyu’s Strong Sense of Justice
Giyu holds a stoic and unfazed expression, keeping a quiet demeanor and a strong sense of fairness. He is quick to lose patience with those who ignore their own limits and waste their lives. Although he allowed Nezuko Kamado to survive thanks to Tanjiro Kamado’s insistence, he shows no hesitation when it comes to killing other demons, displaying neither pity nor regard for them, unlike many Demon Slayers. Remarkably, Giyu breaks the rules of the Demon Slayer Corps to save Nezuko from Shinobu’s attempt to kill her. This hints that, unlike some other Hashira, Giyu does not fully detest demons and is willing to make exceptions to allow a demon to exist as long as they do not murder or consume people. This shows that he can keep his feelings in check while dealing with demons.
Interestingly, Giyu seems to care about how others perceive him, as he reacts with disbelief when Shinobu Kocho mentions that many people dislike him. He doesn’t appear to be affected by her teasing remarks and often ignores her comments. Despite this, they share a long history of friendship and interactions. He is a man of few words who finds it hard to connect with people, often preferring to keep his distance. Notably, he tells Akaza that he dislikes talking and keeps his identity a secret because he believes that names should not be revealed, especially to demons.
