Let us bow our heads in respect to all heroes who bravely fought to give us freedom. Today, we stand proud with fearless minds and hopeful hearts. Our leaders’ courageous struggles remind us of bravery and patriotism.
Remember the sacrifices – mothers losing their sons, families torn apart, and people enduring pain to achieve independence. Despite our great diversity and the challenge of democracy, India stands united as a shining example of strength and harmony.
India is a sovereign, secular, and democratic nation as per the Indian Constitution. It is our duty as youth to keep these values alive and work hard towards a better future. On Independence Day, the grand celebration at Rajpath starts with our Prime Minister hoisting the Indian Tricolour, followed by the national anthem and a 21-gun salute. Flowers rain down as the forces march proudly in the parade.
