Assam Newly Provincialization Colleges List 2020 - Summary
The Assam government has provincialized 355 educational institutes under the department of secondary education and 27 colleges under the ambit of the department of higher education in the first phase, said health, finance and education minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma at a press meet at the state secretariat in Guwahati on Tuesday.
These provincialized educational institutes include 197 high schools, 9 higher secondary schools, and 149 senior secondary schools or junior colleges across Assam. Assam government has provincialized a total of 355 educational institutes under the directorate of secondary education and 27 colleges under the directorate of higher education.
