WBPSC Miscellaneous Final Examination Pattern 2024

(b) Arithmetic (Group B):

Paper-I: English

Topics	Description
a) Drafting of a report from points or materials supplied	You’ll be provided with points or materials, and you need to create a report based on them.
b) Translation from Bengali/Hindi/Urdu/Nepali/Santali to English	Translate a given passage from one of these languages (Bengali, Hindi, Urdu, Nepali, or Santali) to English.
c) Condensing of a prose passage (Summary/Precis)	Summarize or condense a given prose passage into a concise form.
d) Correct use of words, correction of sentences, use of common phrases, synonyms, and antonyms, etc.	Test your vocabulary, grammar, and language skills. This may include identifying and correcting errors in sentences, selecting synonyms and antonyms, and using common phrases correctly.

Paper-II: Bengali/Hindi/Urdu/Nepali/Santali

Topics	Description
a) Drafting of a report from points or materials supplied	Similar to Paper-I, you’ll be provided with points or materials to create a report in the respective language (Bengali, Hindi, Urdu, Nepali, or Santali).
b) Translation from English to Bengali/Hindi/Urdu/Nepali/Santali	Translate a given passage from English to one of these languages (Bengali, Hindi, Urdu, Nepali, or Santali).
c) Condensing of a prose passage	Summarize or condense a given prose passage in the respective language.
d) Grammar convert in table format	This appears to involve testing your understanding of grammar rules in the respective language, possibly by presenting them in a table format for analysis and correction.
