SSC Group D Reject List 1911
Calcutta High Court direct the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) to cancel appointments of 1,911 Group D employees in state-run schools, who had got jobs due to manipulation of their sheets during the recruitment examination held in 2016.
(SSC) to notify the names of the candidates whose appointments were canceled, Justice Abhijit Gangopadhay ordered the SSC to recruit eligible people from the waiting list to fill up the vacant posts by March 6. Observing that the manipulation of OMR sheets was done during the tenure of former SSC chairman Subires Bhattacharyya, who was arrested by CBI on September 19 last year, Justice Gangopadhyay directed him to disclose on whose instructions this “illegal act” took place. The judge observed that if Bhattacharyya did not reveal details, he would be debarred from using his educational degrees till he was exonerated in the case.

বিচারপতি অভিজিৎ গঙ্গোপাধ্যায় গত বৃহস্পতিবার মামলার শুনানিতে স্কুল সার্ভিস কমিশনকে এই অযোগ্য প্রার্থীদের চাকরি বাতিলের জন্য ২৪ ঘণ্টা সময় দেন। সেইমতো শুক্রবার স্কুল সার্ভিস কমিশন এই ১৯১১ জনের বরখাস্তের প্রক্রিয়া শুরু করে। তবে আইন অনুযায়ী এদের বরখাস্ত করার কাজটি সারতে হবে মধ্যশিক্ষা পর্ষদকে।
এই ১৯১১ জন গ্রুপ ডি কর্মী বরখাস্ত হওয়ার পাশাপাশি তাদের শূন্যস্থান পূরণের প্রক্রিয়া নিয়েও সুস্পষ্ট নির্দেশ দিয়েছেন বিচারপতি অভিজিৎ গঙ্গোপাধ্যায়। তিনি জানিয়েছেন গ্রুপ ডি এর ওয়েটিং লিস্টে যারা আছে তাদের মধ্যে থেকেই এই শূন্যস্থান পূরণ করতে হবে।
