When is Karthika Pournami Celebrated?
This year’s Karthika Pournami will be on November 19, which is a Friday. Karthika Pournami is celebrated on the Purnima day of Shukla Paksha in the Karthika month. In fact, Karthika Pournami begins from Ekadashi and ends on the day of Purnima, lasting nearly five days.
Karthika Pournami Pooja Vidhanam (కార్తీక పౌర్ణమి పూజా విధానం)
- ముందుగా బ్రహ్మ ముహూర్తంలో స్నానం చేసి, వీలైతే పుణ్యనదీ స్నానం చేసి ఉపవాస వ్రతం చేయాలి.
- ఆ తర్వాత లక్ష్మీ నారాయణుడిని నెయ్యి దీపంతో పూజించాలి.
- ఈ రోజున సత్యనారయణ వ్రతాన్ని పఠించడం వల్ల శ్రీమహావిష్ణువు అనుగ్రహం లభిస్తుందని చెబుతారు.
- ఆ తర్వాత తులసిని భోగంగా సమర్పించాలి.
- ఆ తర్వాత మీరు తులసి మాత ముందు దీపం వెలిగిస్తారు.
- వీలైతే, ఈ రోజు పేదలకు ఆహారం ఇవ్వండి, ఆహారం లేని వారికి, వారికి ఖచ్చితంగా ఆహారం ఇవ్వండి.
- కార్తీక పూర్ణిమ రోజున మాత తులసి భూమిపైకి వచ్చినట్టు నమ్ముతారు. అందుకే ఈరోజు విష్ణుమూర్తికి తులసిని నైవేద్యంగా పెట్టడం వల్ల మిగతా రోజుల కంటే ఎక్కువ పుణ్యం లభిస్తుంది.
- అంతే కాకుండా కార్తీక పూర్ణిమ నాడు ఇంటి వరండాలో మామిడి ఆకుల మాల కట్టాలి.
- ఈ రోజున శివుని ప్రసన్నం చేసుకోవడానికి గంగాజల్, తేనె, పచ్చి పాలు సమర్పించాలి.
