JOSAA Choice Filing List
The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) 2023 has been set up by the Ministry of Education [erstwhile Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD)] to manage and regulate the joint seat allocation for admissions to 118 institutes for the academic year 2023-24. This includes 23 IITs, 31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, 26 IIITs and 38-Other Technical Institutes Funded Fully or Partly by Central or State Government (Other-GFTIs). Admission to all the academic programs offered by these Institutes will be made through a single platform.
Students who cleared the JEE Main and JEE Advanced are eligible to apply for JoSAA Counselling 2023. However, their JoSAA Choice Filling Preference 2023 would determine their admission outcome. As a result, they must download the experts’ JoSAA Choice Filling Order PDF and apply accordingly. Students must note that JoSAA Last Date for Choice Filling 2023 is June 28 (for Round 1). JOSAA Choice Filing List (JOSAA Choice Filing Order)
Students seek admission to the best-ranked colleges in the country. However, college vacancies can only allow a certain number. As a result, they must enter their choices wisely. Institutes grant students admission based on their Rank in the qualifying exam.
Further, the NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs grant admission based on students’ JEE Main Performance, while IITs grant admission based on their JEE Advanced performance. In addition, the General category students get a seat based on the Common Rank List (CRL). On the other hand, reserved category students get a seat based on the CRL and the Reserved Category Merit List (RML). Both Rank Lists are prepared based on the students’ marks and JEE Cutoff.
