Delhi Lockdown Guidelines
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on 23rd May 2021 extended the lockdown in the national capital till May 31st despite a decline in daily COVID-19 cases.
In View of the current Cocid-19 situation, the Delhi government extending the ongoing lockdown by May 31, 2021, ending at 5 am with the same guidelines as previously issued.
The earlier lockdown was ending at 5 am on Monday (May 17) but now it was an extension for one week which was necessary as cases are not going down. Everyone, including traders and common people, said that it should be extended.
The chief minister said the city is facing the fourth wave of Covid-19 and that harsh measures will have to be taken to prevent a collapse of the health system. “Essential services, food services, medical services will continue. Weddings can be held with a gathering of only 50 people, passes will be issued separately for it.
