CTET Exam Date 2026 Application Form - Summary
The Central Board of Secondary Education will conduct the 21 st Edition of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on 08th February, 2026 (Sunday) (Paper- I and Paper-II). The test will be conducted in twenty languages in 132 cities all over the country.

CTET 2025-26 Eligibility
CTET consists of two papers: Paper 1 (Class 1 to 5) and Paper 2 (6 to 8). The eligibility criteria for both papers are discussed below.
- CTET Paper I: For those looking forward to teaching classes I-V. Applicants should have a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or a similar qualification, either completed or in the final year.
- CTET Paper II: For classes VI-VIII. Graduation with relevant degrees like B.Ed., B.A.Ed, or similar, is required for eligibility.
