As you may be aware that the issue regarding the change in the duration of MCA program from 3 years to 2

It is informed that the above issue was placed before 545tr’ Meeting of University Grant Commission l-held
on 19.12.2019 and the same has been approved. Hence the MCA course shall be of 2 Years duration from 2020.

It is also brought to your notice that the above change in the duration of MCA program from 03 years to
02 Years have also been incorporated in the AICTE APH 2023 and the eligibility qualification is as below:-
“Passed BCA/ Bachelor Degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent Degree. OR passed
B.Sc./ B.Com./ B.A. with Mathematics at l0+2 Level or at Graduation Level (with additional bridge
Courses as per the norms of the concerned University). Obtained at least 50olo marks (45yo marks
in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying Examination
ln view of the above, necessary modification in the course duration of MCA program may please be made
in conformity with the UCC decision and provisions contained in AICTE APH for f,.V.ZOid-U. A line of
confirmation may please be sent to the council in this regard immediately
