Hurun India Rich List 2025 highlights how India’s billionaire population is growing rapidly. The total number of billionaires in the country has now crossed 350, six times more than when the list was first released 13 years ago. Together, the wealth of all these billionaires adds up to Rs 167 lakh crore, which is almost half of India’s total GDP.
Mukesh Ambani and his family are once again the richest in India, with a net worth of ₹9.55 lakh crore. This news is from the 14th edition of the M3M Hurun India Rich List 2025, released by M3M India along with the Hurun Research Institute. Just behind them are Gautam Adani and his family, with a wealth of ₹8.14 lakh crore. It shows that the competition for the number one spot in India’s richest list is mainly between these two business giants.
