Understanding Your SBI Credit Card
When you own an SBI Credit Card, it’s crucial to know the fees and rules that apply to you. These rules help you use your credit card safely and responsibly. Let’s take a look at some key points:
- Annual Fees & Renewal Fees: There are annual fees and renewal fees that apply to your SBI Credit Card (SBI Card). The annual fee is charged just once, while the renewal fee occurs each year. These fees can differ depending on the cardholder and the specific card type. You will be informed about these fees when you apply for your credit card. The applicable fees will be directly charged to your account and will appear on the card statement of that month. Note that if you have additional cards linked to your account, they may also have separate fees.
- Cash Advance Fees: In case of an emergency, cardholders can withdraw cash using their SBI Credit Card from domestic or international ATMs. A transaction fee will apply for every cash withdrawal, which will show up in your next statement. This fee is 2.5% or Rs. 300, whichever amount is higher at domestic ATMs, and 3% or Rs. 300, whichever is higher at international ATMs. Please note that these fees can change based on the discretion of SBI Cards & Payment Services Private Limited (SBICPSL). Additionally, cash advances will incur finance charges from the day of withdrawal until the amount is fully paid back, similar to revolving credit fees (refer to the schedule of charges for more details).
- Cash Payment Fees: You can pay your SBI Card dues by visiting select SBI Bank branches or SBI Associate Bank branches. Just fill out a pay-in-slip with your credit card number and the amount you want to pay, and deposit it at the branch counter. After making your payment, you will receive an instant acknowledgment receipt. This cash payment service is available for Rs. 100 plus any applicable taxes.
