Inside Vedas - Summary
The Vedas are the oldest and most sacred scriptures of Hinduism, forming the backbone of the religion. These ancient texts were composed in Vedic Sanskrit and are a vast collection of wisdom passed down through generations. The term “Veda” comes from the Sanskrit root “vid,” which means “knowledge” or “wisdom.”
The Vedas serve not only as holy texts but also as a treasure trove of important philosophical, metaphysical, and scientific insights. They explore the nature of reality, the concept of God (Brahman), the essence of the soul (Atman), and the principles of Dharma (righteousness) and Karma (actions and their consequences).
