Himachal Pradesh Berojgari Bhatta Yojana: Form & Details
Himachal Pradesh has introduced a special plan for unemployed youth, known as the Berojgari Bhatta Yojana. This government initiative offers Unemployment Allowance to eligible individuals with 10+2 qualifications or higher. Under this scheme, the government will provide Rs. 1,000 per month to unemployed youth, while those with disabilities will receive Rs. 1,500 per month.
Eligibility Criteria for Unemployment Allowance
To qualify for the Unemployment Allowance, interested applicants must meet the following requirements:
- She/he must be unemployed (not working in the government, PSUs, or private sector, and not self-employed) and a Bonafide Himachali.
- She/he should have completed at least 10+2 from any Board/University/Institution recognized by the Himachal Pradesh Government.
- She/he needs to be registered with any Employment Exchange in Himachal Pradesh as of the date of application for at least 1 year.
- Her/his annual family income for the Financial Year before the application date, from all sources including that of the spouse, must be below Rs. 2.00 Lakh (Rs. Two Lakhs).
- She/he should be between 20 to 35 years of age on the application date.
- She/he must not be self-employed.
- She/he must not be a dismissed government employee.
- She/he should not have been convicted of any crime leading to imprisonment for 48 hours or more.
