In the Telangana State Congress party secured 64 seats out of the total 119. The results were declared on December 3. It was two days after the declaration that Revanth Reddy was named as the upcoming chief minister of Telangana and the leader of the Congress Legislature Party (CLP) AICC leadership by AICC leadership.
