SBI Bank lockers can be used to store property documents, jewellery, loan documents, savings Bonds, insurance policies, and other confidential items which need safekeeping. The bank will charge a yearly rent based on the size of the locker and the location of the branch. Here is a quick look at popular banks and their locker rent charges.

Depending on the size of the locker and the center where the branch is located, the bank will charge an annual rent. At the time the locker is assigned, a copy of the locker agreement governing its use will be given to the locker hirer. The rent should be paid in full before the start of the fiscal year.

SBI bank locker fees range from Rs 500 to Rs 3,000 depending on the locality and locker size. In metro and metropolitan areas, the bank charges Rs 2,000, Rs 4,000, Rs 8,000, and Rs 12,000 for small, medium, large, and extra large size lockers, respectively.

In semi-urban and rural locations, the bank charges Rs 1,500, Rs 3,000, Rs 6,000, and Rs 9,000 for small, medium, big, and extra large-size lockers, respectively.
