Agriculture Government has set up a Scheme, Sardar Patel Agricultural Research Award Scheme for the farmers of the State who produce good quality of yield by their innovative idea and by own courage as well as research new technique in agriculture field. This award is given in five different categories/ subject. Thus, Sardar Patel Agricultural Research Award Scheme has been implemented by the State government of Gujarat on Dt.30-10-1995 to honour and appreciate farmer’s contribution to the development of agriculture to encourage and accelerate this Agricultural production.
Eligibility Criteria
Farmers either Male or Female who possesses Agriculture land in Gujarat are eligible to apply in this scheme.
Benefits of the scheme
In this scheme every year Rs.51000/- is awarded the shawl and certificate to the farmer whoever gains the first position in each category and also first five farmers from each category are appreciated with shawl & certificate.
In addition to this, farmers as in the form of encouragement are appreciated by giving shawl & certificate for the special work done in the field of beekeeping, poultry farming, fisheries, etc.
