Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Admission (Selection Test) Certificate Form 2023 PDF Notification has been issued by Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti from the official website https://www.nvsadmissionclassnine.in, or it can be directly downloaded from the link given at the bottom of this page.

Jawahar Navodaya 6th class official Notification for admission in class 6th Navodaya Vidyalaya has been issued and registration started and the last date for online application is extended to 31st Aug 2023. In accordance with the National Policy of Education (1986). Government of India started Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVS). Presently the JNVS are spread in 27 States and 08 Union Territories. Admissions in JNVs are made through the JAWAHAR NAVODAYA VIDYALAYA SELECTION TEST (UNVST) to Class VI.

JNV Selection Test for admission to Class-VI in JNVs for the academic session 2023-24 will be held On Saturday, the  29th April 2023 at 11.30 A.M in one phase for all Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas

Navodaya Form 2024 – Eligibility

• Candidates who are bonafide residents of the district and studying in class V in the academic session 2022-23 in Govt./Govt. recognized school in the same district where JNV is functioning and to which they are seeking admission.
• Studied full academic sessions in each class and passed classes III & IV from Govt. / Govt. recognized school and born between 01.05.2011 to 30.04.2013 (Both dates inclusive)

How to Apply for JNV (Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya) Selection TestAdmission Form 2023

1. The process for submission of application for the JNV Selection Test has been simplified through the online process at https://cbseitms.rcil.gov.in or directly click on this link.
2. The eligible candidates have to fill up the online form and upload the certificate with the photograph along with the signatures of both candidates and/or their parents/guardians. The attachments should be uploaded in jpg format of the size between 10-100 kb only.
3. In the case of candidates from NIOS, candidates should obtain a `B’ certificate and residence should be in the same district where he/she is seeking admission.
4. The online platform is open source and free of cost. Application may be submitted from any source like desktop, laptop, mobile, tablet, etc.

आवश्‍यक सूचनाऐं

2. अभ्‍यर्थियों के लिए निर्देश-:

   1. ऑनलाइन आवेदन प्रक्रिया का केवल एक ही चरण है।
   2. अन्‍य पिछड़ा वर्ग के अभ्‍यर्थियों को आरक्षण केवल केन्‍द्रीय सूची के अनुसार दिया जाएगा। केन्‍द्रीय सूची के अन्‍तर्गत नहीं आने वाले अन्‍य पिछड़ा वर्ग के अभ्‍यर्थी कृपया सामान्‍य अभ्‍यर्थी के रूप में आवेदन करें।
   3. आवेदन प्रारम्‍भ करने से पहले कृपया निम्‍नानुसार स्‍केंड कॉपी तैयार रखें।
      1. अभ्‍यर्थी के हस्‍ताक्षर (हस्‍ताक्षर की इमेज का आकार 10-100 के.बी के बीच होना चाहिए।)
      2. अभिभावक के हस्‍ताक्षर (हस्‍ताक्षर की इमेज का आकार 10-100 के.बी के बीच होना चाहिए।)
      3. अभ्‍यर्थी का फोटोग्राफ (फोटोग्राफ का आकार 10-100 के.बी के बीच होना चाहिए।)
      4. माता-पिता और उम्मीदवार द्वारा हस्ताक्षरित और प्रधानाध्यापक द्वारा सत्यापित प्रमाण पत्र (हस्‍ताक्षरित प्रमाण पत्र का आकार 50-300 के.बी के बीच होना चाहिए।)
      5. यदि अभ्‍यर्थी के पास आधार संख्या नहीं है तो सक्षम सरकारी प्राधिकारी द्वारा जारी माता-पिता का निवास प्रमाण पत्र|

Reservation for Rural, SC/ST, Girls & Disabled Children

• At least 75% of the seats in a district are filled by candidates selected from rural areas and the remaining seats are filled from urban areas of the district.
• Reservation of seats in favour of children belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes is provided in proportion to their population in the district concerned provided that in no district, such reservation will be less than the national average (15% for SC and 7.5% for ST) but subject to a maximum of 50% for both the categories (SC & ST) taken together. These reservations are interchangeable and over and above the candidates selected under open merit.
• 27% reservation shall be provided to the OBC students over and above the reservation of SCs and STs. The reservations to the OBC students shall be implemented as per Central List, as applicable from time to time. The OBC candidates not included in the Central list would apply as General Candidates.
• Minimum One-third of the total seats are filled by girls.
• There is a provision for reservation for  Divyang children (i.e. Orthopedically Handicapped, Hearing Impaired, and Visually Handicapped) as per GOI norms.
