Indian Coast Guard – Post-Wise Educational Qualification

Indian Coast Guard Online Application Process

Applications for the Indian Coast Guard recruitment will be accepted online only from 06 October 2026 at 11:00 AM to 21 October 2026 at 5:30 PM.

Candidates can follow these steps:

  1. Visit the SSC official website and register/login to the application portal.
  2. Complete the registration process by following the instructions given on the portal.
  3. Candidates should carefully remember their registered E-mail ID and mobile number. These details will be encrypted in the application form and will be required to:
    • Login to the candidate dashboard
    • Download the E-Admit Card
    • Check the examination result
  4. If a candidate forgets the registered E-mail ID or mobile number, they will not be able to access their dashboard, download the E-Admit Card or check their result. No request for retrieving these details will be entertained.
  5. Fill out the online application form carefully and follow all instructions available on the registration portal.
  6. Candidates should also read and follow the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) available on the portal.
  7. A candidate can apply for only one post in a particular recruitment cycle.
  8. If a candidate submits multiple applications, only the latest submitted application will be considered. All previously submitted applications will be rejected. The examination fee paid for multiple applications will not be refunded.
  9. The application will be scrutinised for eligibility. If a candidate is found ineligible at any stage, their application may be rejected.

Documents Required

Candidates must upload scanned copies of original documents. Photocopies or self-attested photocopies will not be accepted.

  • Recent passport-size colour photograph not older than 3 months.
  • Live photograph captured during registration.
  • Scanned signature.
  • Date of Birth proof: Class 10th Marksheet or Birth Certificate.
  • Identity proof: Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, Driving Licence or Passport.
  • Service Certificate/NOC, wherever applicable, for serving ICG Personnel or civilians.
  • Domicile Certificate for Navik (GD) Male candidates to determine the recruitment zone.
  • Navik (GD) Female, Yantrik, Navik (DB) and Hygienist-I candidates need to upload a Domicile Certificate only when they require relaxation in medical standards, such as height.
