Assam HSLC Syllabus for Class IX & X 2020-21
Secondary Education Board of Assam, SEBA would be reducing the syllabus for classes 9th and 10th by 30 percent for the coming academic year that is 2020-21. The decision has been taken after the reduction in the syllabus has been done by many boards including CBSE.
The chairman of SEBA, Ramesh Chandra Jain informed that the decision to reduce the syllabus for Higher School Leaving Certificate, HSLC would be implemented only for the academic session 2020-21. Earlier, the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council, AHSEC, took a similar decision for students of classes 11 and 12th.
The Assam Government had earlier decided to reopen its educational institutions. However, the decision met with various issues due to the sudden rise in the number of coronavirus cases. The Assam Government has now ordered to keep the schools shut till September 30, 2020.
