SIR Form West Bengal - Summary
SIR Form is used to update information such as the name, address, age, and voter ID number of citizens, ensuring that the electoral roll remains accurate and up to date. The term “SIR 2026” stands for Summary Revision of Electoral Rolls, and this form helps to collect and verify voter details in each polling area.
This form is generally filled out by Booth Level Officers (BLOs) as part of the election preparation process. The data collected through the SIR Form helps in correcting errors, adding new voters, and removing duplicate or invalid entries. It ensures that every eligible citizen in West Bengal can exercise their right to vote in a fair and transparent election.
How to Fill SIR Form Through BLO?
Step 1: Go the official website of ECI https://voters.eci.gov.in
Step 2: On the homepage of the website you have to click on “Book a Call with BLO”
Step 3: Then you have to enter your mobile number to login. After that you have to enter your EPIC number and click on search button.
Step 4: Now you request has been registered and BLO will reach your home fill the SIR form at your residence.
SIR Form Correction – How to Edit or Correct, Eligibility and Process
- Eligible users include citizens of India aged 18 and above and who are already present on the electoral roll.
- Corrections may be submitted by utilizing the NVSP portal, Voter Helpline App or have assistance from a Booth Level Officer (BLO).
- Users must upload or submit valid documentation for corrections, these include any ID proof, address proof, or age certificate.
- Once the form is submitted it is subject to verification by the BLO or Electoral Registration Officer (ERO).
- Upon successful verification it is amended in the voter list and the corrected details can be downloaded in the amended voter slip.

- If born in India before 01.07.1987:
- Provide any document (for Self) from the list given below that establishes the date of birth and/or place of birth.
- If born in India between 01.07.1987 and 02.12.2004:
- Provide any document (for Self) from the list given below that establishes the date of birth and/or place of birth.
- Provide any document (for Father or Mother) from the list given below that establishes the date of birth and/or place of birth.
- If born in India after 02.12.2004:
- Provide any document (for Self) from the list given below that establishes the date of birth and/or place of birth.
- Provide any document (for Father) from the list given below that establishes the date of birth and/or place of birth.
- Provide any document (for Mother) from the list given below that establishes the date of birth and/or place of birth.
- If any parent is not Indian, provide a copy of his/her valid passport and visa at the time of your birth.
- If born outside of India:
- Attach proof of Birth Registration issued by the Indian Mission abroad.
- If acquired Indian citizenship by Registration/Naturalization:
- Attach the Certificate of Registration of Citizenship.
