UPSC Engineering Services (Prelims) Mechanical Engineering Exam 2020 - Summary
For selection to the Engineering Services, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) holds a joint competitive examination.
The examination consists of a written examination followed by a personality test interview.
Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality –
a citizen of India, or
a Nepalese subject, or
a Bhutanese subject, or
a Tibetan refugee who arrived in India before January 1, 1962, to live permanently in India
Provided, however, that a candidate falling under categories (2), (3), or (4) above must be a person on whose behalf the Government of India has issued an eligibility certificate. - Age limit – 21 – 30 year
- Qualification – A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
