UGC NET 2022 Notification - Summary
NTA (National Testing Agency) will release the UGC NET 2022 Notification PDF from the official website https://ugcnet.nta.nic.in and once released we will update the PDF here. UGC NET 2022 Exam will be conducted twice a year in online mode across various Exam Centres in India to determine the eligibility for the post of Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Indian Universities & College.
The official notification for UGC NET Dec 2022 Exam will be released on the official website of NTA UGC NET – https://ugcnet.nta.nic.in/. The notification will include the online registration opening and closing date along with application correction dates.

UGC NET Online Registration 2022
Online Registration for June 2022 will be able to apply online after the notification is published. To meet the eligibility requirements, please click on this link. Applications received late will not be reviewed. Four steps comprise the process of applying online. Candidates should be aware of the following:
- The authority will provide an opportunity for candidates to correct their applications.
- For a photograph to be accepted, its size must range from 10 K.B. to 100KB, while for a signature, it should range from 4 K.B. to 30KB.
- Photographs and signatures should have dimensions of 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm (height).
- The confirmation page should not be sent to the authority office.

Age Limit
- There is five-year age relaxation for OBC-NCL, SC, S.T., and P.W.D.
- Candidates with an L.L.M. degree will be eligible for three years of age relaxation. Depending upon the service period up to the exam date, service in the armed forces is eligible for a relaxation of up to five years.
- No more than five years of age relaxation is allowed on the above ground.

UGC NET Paper Details
Exam Mode: The entrance test will be organized in Online CBT mode.
Number of Papers: There will be two papers for the exam – Paper-I and Paper-II.
Number of Questions: A total of 150 questions will be there in the exam paper. 50 questions in Paper I and 100 questions in Paper-II.
Type of Questions: The question paper will contain multiple-choice type questions.
Language Medium: The question paper will be available in the medium language of English and Hindi.
Time Duration: Paper I will be of 1-hour duration while Paper II will be of 2 hours.
Total Marks: Paper 1 will be 100 marks and Paper II will be 200 marks.
Marking Scheme: For every correct answer, 2 marks will be given. There will be no provision of negative marking for incorrect answers.
