PMKVY (Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana) is the national project of the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE) executed by the National Skill Development Corporation.

Vocational education requires to give aspirational to remodel India into the skill resources of the world. Besides the similarly, the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) aims to build apparent and aspirational Model Training Centers (MTCs) in each nation’s area. NSDC is the implementation bureau for the scheme.
Aim of Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Kendra (PMKVY)
The primary aim and motive of yojana to deliver employment to unemployed youths. Under this yojana, the training and skills development training is proved beneficial to the unemployed. That makes the country youth well educated and skilled in terms of employment.
The design training centers visualize to:
- Originate benchmark foundations that illustrate aspirational purpose for competency-based profession improvement education.
- Concentrate on factors of the essence, sustainability, and Consolidation with stakeholders in an arts transmission manner.
- Modify from an Order-directed footloose guide to a sustainable institutional design.
These training centers will be state-of-the-art Model Training Centers called Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Kendra (PMKK).
