Maharashtra Final Year Exam Notification - Summary
Maharashtra Government has taken a decision to not conduct the final year/final semester examination of the non-professional courses as well as professional courses as the present atmosphere is not yet conducive to conduct any examination or classes.
Maharashtra Government has informed Bombay High Court that it cannot permit the ICSE Board to conduct the pending exams in the state. The government is also firm on its stand to not conduct any final year exams in the state universities too. Recently CM Uddhhav Thackarey has written to PM Modi regarding cancellation of Final year PG exams in Maharashtra Medical colleges.
The Government of Maharashtra has taken the decision to scarp the exams of university final year students and the ICSE Board exams due to rising number of COVID 19 cases in the state and the health risk posed to the students due to gatherings during exams. Vandana Krishna, the additional chief secretary of the school education department has conveyed to the advocate general that the state stands firm on its decision not to conduct school exams and the same decision has been taken in respect of University exams.
