LTC Special Cash Package Application Form PDF

This is an Application Form for a special Cash Package in lieu of LTC Fare + 10 Days EL Encashment during the Block Year 2018-21. The Ministry of Finance, Government of India, issued guidelines for the special cash package in lieu of LTC through an order dated 12th October 2020. Additionally, the Ministry of Finance provided further clarity via an order dated 20th October 2020.

How to Apply for the Special Cash Package

All officers and staff members who wish to avail themselves of the special cash package in lieu of LTC may apply using the enclosed proforma. Make sure to fill it out completely and submit the duly filled proforma to the Admin Section.

Why This Package is Important

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the resulting nationwide lockdown, many Central Government employees cannot travel to any location in India or their hometowns during the current Block of 2018-21. The disruption of transport and the hospitality sector, along with the need for social distancing, has affected travel plans significantly.

In order to support and encourage consumption among Central Government employees, the government has decided to offer a cash equivalent of LTC. This will include Leave Encashment and LTC fare of the entitled LIC GAY to be reimbursed if an employee opts for this instead of one LTC in the Block of 2018-21.
