The Government of West Bengal has designed this scheme for the resolution of problems faced by migrant workers during their course of employment outside the state of West Bengal and provides various assistance as decided from time to time. Assistance includes financial compensation on account of death, severe accidental injury, and other assistance to mitigate issues related to wage, abuse, trafficking, or exigencies like natural calamities and pandemic situations.

Porijayi Shramik Form – Procedure
- The applicant himself/herself (or his/her relatives, if the migrant worker is currently residing at his/her workplace) needs to attend the DUARE SARKAR Camp along with the requisite documents mentioned above to avail of the benefits/ services.
- The Registering Authority will physically verify the sanctity of each application.
- Service will be delivered to the eligible applicant.
