The High Court will be closed for summer vacation from Saturday, 3rd June to Friday, 30th June (both days inclusive) and for winter vacation from Tuesday, 26th December to Saturday, 30th December (both days inclusive).
Overview of High Court Holidays
The Supreme Court also goes on its annual summer holiday, which usually lasts for seven weeks. This break starts at the end of May, and the court reopens in July. Additionally, there are breaks for Dussehra and Diwali, as well as a two-week holiday at the end of December.
It’s important to note that subordinate criminal courts do not have any vacations. However, subordinate civil courts, High Courts, and the Supreme Court do have scheduled breaks.
