GPSTR 2022 Notification – Eligibility
Residence and Nationality
- The candidate must be an Indian national and a resident of Karnataka.
Educational Qualifications
For Primary Teacher:
- Candidates must have a Senior Secondary (or equivalent) diploma with at least 50% marks and have passed or appeared in the last year of a 2-year Elementary Education diploma program (D.EI.Ed). (OR) Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or enrolled in the last year of a four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education program (B.EI.Ed). (OR) Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Education passed or appearing in the final year (Special Education). (OR) Bachelor’s degree in education and a graduation grade point average of at least 50% (B.Ed).
- The candidate must have completed the TET / CTET in Karnataka.
For Trained Graduate Teacher:
- The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant topic with a D.EI.Ed / B.Ed / B.P.Ed / D.P.Ed from a recognized university or institution. (OR) Graduation with at least a 50% grade point average and passing or enrolling in a one-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) program (OR) Senior secondary school diploma (or equivalent) with at least 50% grades and a four-year bachelor’s degree in elementary education (B.El.Ed). (OR) Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with a minimum of 50% and a 4-year B.Sc.Ed
- The candidate must have completed the TET / CTET in Karnataka.
