Delhi Electric Vehicles (EV) Policy 2020 - Summary
Delhi Government has launched the New Electric Vehicles Policy 2020 on 07 August 2020. The new Delhi EV policy 2020 offers incentives of up to ₹1.5 lakh for the purchase of new electric cars in the city capital.
While an incentive of up to ₹30,000 will be provided for e-two-wheelers, autos, e-rickshaws and freight vehicles.
With this new EV Policy, the state government aims to increase the share of EV registrations to 25% by the year 2024. As per the state government, new EV policy in Delhi is one of the best in the country which will help eradicating pollution caused by vehicles in the capital city.
