CTET Notification 2023 - Summary
The Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE) has released an official notification regarding the 17th edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test, or CTET 2023 exam. As per the official notice, CBSE will conduct CTET 2023 Exam in the month of July 2023. The test will be conducted in 20 languages throughout the country. Once the CTET 2023 Application form is out, Candidates can apply online through the official website, ctet.nic.in.
The CTET Computer-Based Test 2023 will be conducted in 20 languages throughout the country. About the exam date, the candidates would be intimated later and their exam shift and time will be mentioned on the admit cards.CBSE has started conducting the exam in online mode The CTET Notification 2023 has been released by Central Teacher Eligibility Test-July 2023 on 27th April 2023 on its official website.

CTET 2023 Exam Pattern
The Board will conduct the CTET 2023 twice every year. There will be two papers for CTET. The Paper – I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for Classes 1 to 5. Similarly, Paper -II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for Classes 6 to 12. To know more about the education qualification, check the detailed notification(once released).

CTET 2023 Notification – Eligibility Criteria

Classes 1 to 5 |
- Candidates must have cleared or still pursuing the final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (with a minimum of 50% marks) from a recognized University/Institution.
- Applicants must have cleared or still pursuing the final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (with a minimum of 45% marks) in accordance with the NCTE, Regulations, 2002.
- Aspirants must have cleared or still pursuing the final year of 4 years of a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) from a recognized University/Institution (with at least 50% marks).
- Candidates must have cleared or still pursuing the final year of 2 years Diploma in Special Education(with at least 50% marks) from a recognized University/Institution.
- Candidates must have cleared the Graduation (with at least 50% marks) and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) from a recognized University/Institution.

Classes 6 to 8 |
- Candidates must have cleared the Graduation and also must have cleared or still pursuing the final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education from a recognized University/Institution.
- Candidates must have cleared the Graduation (with minimum 50% marks) and passed or appeared in the first year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) from a recognized University/Institution.
- Candidates must have cleared the Graduation (with a minimum of 45% marks) and passed or appeared in 1 year of bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE Regulations in Education (B.Ed).
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and Candidates must have cleared the Graduation of a 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed).
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and Candidates must have cleared the Graduation of 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and Candidates must have cleared or appeared in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education).
- Candidates must have cleared the Graduation in B.Ed. Programs recognized by the NCTE are eligible to appear in TET/CTET.
