The Biju Patnaik University of Technology took its birth in the year 2003 with the laying of a foundation stone on the auspicious hand of the late Dr.A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, the hon’ble President of India. Riding on the chariot of Public-Private Partnership, the University has grown to-day to a big family of 137 colleges and covers all gamut of technical education systems of the country.
