साल 2021 के दौरान स्कूलों में 30 दिन छुट्टी रहेगी, जबकि पांच दिन विशेष दिवस पर स्कूल खुलेंगे, सिर्फ पढ़ाई नहीं होगी। पहली अप्रैल से 30 सितंबर तक पढ़ाई में एक घंटे की बढ़ोतरी हुई है, पहले स्कूल आठ से एक बजे तक चलते थे, अब आठ से दोपहर दो बजे तक खुले रहेंगे। वहीं ग्रीष्मावकाश में कटौती हुई है, जबकि शीतकालीन अवकाश शुरू किया गया है। दीपावली पर स्कूलों में चार दिन अवकाश रहेगा।
