Assam Cabinet Ministers List 2023
Assam has a new government in place, and it’s time to take a look at the cabinet ministers who will be working toward the development of the state. The Assam Cabinet Minister List 2023 was announced by the Chief Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma, on May 10, 2022.
CM of Assam state Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma has allocated portfolios to 15 members of his cabinet. His council of ministers comprises 12 cabinet ministers from BJP, 2 from alliance partner AGP and 1 from the UPPL. Recently there are two new faces including in the Assam government cabinet ministry, Shri Jayanta Malla Baruah as Public Health Engineering, Skill, Employment & Entrepreneurship, Tourism Minister and Smt. Nandita Gorlosa as Power, Cooperation, Mines & Minerals, Indigenous & Tribal Faith and Culture Minister.
