AP Engineering College – Admission process

• The admission process for engineering colleges will be specific to each college and educational institution. However, there are few similarities in the admission process for different colleges that the students must keep in mind: –
• The students that wish to do any specialization in Engineering in Andhra Pradesh must have completed their matriculation from a recognized board. Until the student completes their matriculation, they are not eligible for applying to an engineering course.
• The students must achieve the cutoff marks provided by the college they wish to apply to, both in their matriculation exams and in the engineering entrance examinations, such as AP EAMCET, GATE, AP PGECET, etc.
• Only the students that have taken science in their matriculation can apply for engineering. Commerce and humanities students cannot shift streams to enter an engineering course.
