For admission in the first year of Degree Engineering (B.E./B.Tech.) after Std. 12 (Science Stream) on State Quota seats which includes all sanctioned seats of Government and Grantin-Aid Colleges, 33% seats of sanctioned intake and surrendered seats of Management quota of Centre of Excellence (CoE) Universities/Colleges of Gujarat, 50% seats of sanctioned intake and surrendered seats of Management quota of unaided Colleges of Gujarat, the State Government has decided to carry out web-based online admission process for the academic year 2023-24.

Eligibility for Admission :
- For 95% seats of the total sanctioned intake of Government/Grant-in-Aid Institutions and 50% of total sanctioned intake of unaided Institutions: A candidate shall have obtained minimum Qualification as mentioned in table below from schools located in Gujarat state in line with other eligibility criteria from recognized board duly stated in admission rules, and shall have appeared in GUJCET – 2023 examination.
- For 5% seats of total sanctioned intake of Government/Grant-in-Aid Institutions: A Candidate shall have obtained minimum Qualification as mentioned in table below from schools located in India (including Gujarat State) duly affiliated with any recognised board, and shall have appeared in JEE (Main) – 2023 examination.
- For Government seats of Centre of Excellence: A candidate shall have obtained minimum Qualification as mentioned in table below from schools located in Gujarat state in line with other eligibility criteria from recognized board duly stated in admission rules, and shall have appeared in relevant entrance examination
